Hearthhollow – Illuminated Hidden Gnome Scene Miniature Door

There's a spot in your home nobody looks at twice.

A baseboard. A shelf edge.

A stair landing.

Hearthhollow turns that quiet corner into something worth stopping for.

The little wooden door actually opens — and behind it sits a tiny gnome by his fireplace.

Kids find it first. Then everyone else does.

Layered wood with a rustic finish, so it reads warm and lived-in all year — not just in December.

A tiny door that opens to a hidden world

✓ The moment a child spots it
A grandchild crouches down, pulls the little door open, and goes quiet. That first discovery is the whole point.

✓ A whole little world inside
Behind the door is a miniature gnome scene with a cozy fireplace. Most fairy doors are one flat piece glued to a wall. This one has something inside.

✓ Fits anywhere you have 5 inches
Baseboards, bookshelves, stair landings, mantels, plant pots. Small enough to tuck in, detailed enough to notice.

✓ Built from real wood, not plastic
Built from layered wood with a hand-rustic look. It feels solid in your palm, not hollow and light.

✓ Charming in December, still charming in May
The woodland cottage look isn't tied to one holiday. Put it up for Christmas and you'll leave it up.

Frequently asked questions

How do I attach it to a wall or baseboard?
Most people lean it against a baseboard or set it on a shelf, where it stands on its own. If you want it fixed in place, a small piece of removable mounting tape on the back works without marking paint.

Can young children play with it?
Yes, they love opening and closing the door. It's wood, not glass, but it's still a decorative piece — best for supervised play with toddlers rather than rough handling.

Does the door stay closed on its own?
It swings open and shut and stays where you leave it. Half-open is the look most people go for, since it shows a peek of the scene inside.

Can I use it outdoors in the garden?
It's made for indoor use. Rain and damp will swell and warp the wood over time, so keep it under cover.
